Background
KCSON, in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Uganda Country Office, implemented this project in seven mid‑Albertine districts — Kibaale, Kagadi, Hoima, Kikuube, Masindi, Buliisa, and Kyenjojo. The initiative promoted the adoption of sustainable and renewable energy alternatives to reduce communities’ dependency on biomass for their energy needs. KCSON continues to collaborate with WWF on related environmental initiatives.
