KCSON and WWF are carrying out joint monitoring to FRECAR supported groups with apiary, coffee, banana and woodlot plantations in areas of Kabale and Bujogoro villages in Nyamarunda, sub county Kibaale District, aiming at enhancing livelihood options as a way of regenerating Kangombe Natural Forest.
During the joint monitoring, a number of achievements were observed including plantations of woodlots where 70% of farmers provided with tree seedlings reported success, coffee and banana farmers doing well as the apiary project provided a good yield at the fast harvest.
