Natural Forests Face Greater Anthropogenic Threats More Than Ever, WWF Expert.

Expertise input Ivan Amanigaruhanga, the extractives manager at WWF says that the natural forest face greater anthropogenic threats more than ever with the oil and gas sector coming on board and yet they are required in the Albertine graben for their ecological functions and economic value. Amanigaruhanga says that WWF is working with Civil Society Organizations in the region because they are more on ground dealing with the people directly and have stricken and good working relationships with their respective District Local Governments whose statutory mandate it is conserve natural resources.
